The partnership that started in the Detroit area grew into statewide legal support.
VOAMI had been asking us for years to become the supportive legal services provider for their western Michigan coverage — they liked our service and program design and wanted the same model extended to their clients there. The catch was always geography: our coverage stopped at southeast Michigan. Covid-era changes to court access, mainly the shift to Zoom hearings, removed that barrier. We said yes, expanding our coverage from southeast Michigan to the entire southern half of the state.
