Michigan was added to the pilot program on May 20, 2020.
Early in the pandemic, people on food stamps couldn't use their benefits for grocery delivery because the USDA didn't allow SNAP accounts to be charged for it. We advised partner organizations that the Governor would need to formally request Michigan's inclusion in a USDA pilot program allowing online delivery.
