Opposed an MDOT Rule Criminalizing Asking for Help at Roadside Rest Areas

Still pending.

A proposed rule would have made it a crime to ask for help or share a message at Michigan roadside rest areas, unless you were a charity with special permission. We submitted a comment letter arguing this violates the First Amendment and pushed for the rule to be changed so anyone can speak up or ask for help in public without fear.
